Couch to 5K: Week 3, Day 3

This is probably the first time I am running in the afternoon instead of the morning.  I was not really planning on going out today and was going to give my body one more day to rest…. BUT…. after seeing the Vikings win, I had to burn off some frustration!

So, here is what was on my plate:

  • 5 minute warmup
  • Do this twice:  jog 90 seconds, walk 90 seconds, jog 3 minutes, walk 3 minutes
  • 5 minute cooldown

I pretty much stuck to the plan today.  Keep in mind that when I DO go off the plan, I always do a 5 minute walking warmup and 5 minute walking cooldown…. ALWAYS.

Do this workout today seemed really easy compared to what I have been doing recently.

I think, since I kept today short, I will try to get out again tomorrow and start week 4.   I am very excited!

I was never really the athletic type. Sure, I played tennis in high school (and quite well, mind you) but running CERTAINLY was never my thing!
