I’ll do anything for creme brulee

As you saw I ran earlier today but got out there later on in the afternoon to walk a little bit and work dinner off.  I also had this BRILLIANT idea to have creme brulee for dessert… hmmm…. where can I get that?

Luckily we have a Bonefish Grill near us that is within walking distance (1.5 miles each way.)  It was a beautiful day out so I pitched the idea to my wife and she went for it… hey, who can turn down that dessert option?

It was quite a hike for dessert but it was well worth it.  I calculated the calories consumed vs the calories that we just burned off and it ended up being about even.  We just split ONE dessert which was a good thing.

So having said all of that, it is sometimes worth cheating on your calories a little bit especially if you have the will power to work those calories off!

Even if we drove there, it was Easter… come on… everybody needs a day off from time to time, right?

NOT!  Stay focused and stay fit!  Regardless of burning those calories, all the other bad stuff in it will catch up to me over the next few days I am sure!

I was never really the athletic type. Sure, I played tennis in high school (and quite well, mind you) but running CERTAINLY was never my thing!
