Increase my 5K speed
So with my first 5K in my sights and only a couple of weeks away, my goal is to increase my pace so I am running this thing faster. This is a must before May 1st and am not quite sure how to do it.
Today, I used the same playlist as I did the last time I recorded my personal best. I thought I would break my personal best time this morning but I did not. I truly felt like I kept up with the cadence but somehow I was about 45 seconds slower than before.
Do I need a faster playlist?
Does my mind drift and I am not REALLY running at that speed and keeping up with the cadence I am listening to?
This is something I need to address right away. I am sure I have a lot more in me but I need to figure out how to overcome this standstill I am at right now.
