iPhone app: True Weight

By Skip

I have been using this app since I first installed any type of nutrition apps.  I use this daily along with my LoseIt! app.  The point of this app is to keep you motivated and encouraged towards your ultimate goal.  Since your body goes through daily cycles, this lets you know what your TRUE weight really is.  May days I would step on the scale and be a little disappointed.  I would then plug in that weight into this app and would feel much better about my progress.

There is a free version and a paid version.  I have always used the free one… every 10 times or so that you launch it there is a reminder but really I don’t know what more you would gain by purchasing it.

  • Paid Version:
  • Lite Version:

Click on either one of the links above to learn more about these apps.  I WOULD recommend them side by side your other weight loss apps.

Here is the description from the app developer’s website:

Avoid the highs and lows of dieting by tracking your weight with True Weight.

Simply enter your weight every day and True Weight will factor out the natural variations in your weight to show you your underlying ‘true’ weight.

True Weight displays your current ‘true’ weight, your weekly and monthly weight change, and a daily energy surplus to help you keep on top of your diet.

With a clear 28 day weight chart and its ‘revolutionary’ user interface, keeping track of your weight couldn’t be easier.

Features include:
• Metric and imperial units.
• 28 day weight chart.
• Monthly and Weekly weight change.
• Daily energy surplus.

About

So if you have read any of the blog thus far you know a little bit about me… I can not be told what to do and I push myself about as far as I can be pushed!

But how did I get here and why? Well, that is what this page is about.

I was never really the athletic type. Sure, I played tennis in high school (and quite well, mind you) but running CERTAINLY was never my thing!

The start of 2009 was big for me as I came to the realization that I had put on too much weight over the past 10 years (read more...)
